Is there any govenment in this world that has a special bureau that deals solely in the understanding of alchemy? There might be something powerful here. As taken form " Isaac Newton the Alchemist" : According to B.J.T. Dobbs in The Foundations of Newton's Alchemy (Cambridge University Press, 1984), "The fact that Newton never published a work on alchemy cannot be taken to mean that he knew he had failed [at the Great Work]. I started reading The Sandman in 1996, in Dublin when I was down with chicken-pox. Quarantined, nowhere to go, my friend lend me his World's End issue ( can't remember what # issue it was), SO there I was, jump straight in to the middle of the whole story, I didn't know what the whole story was about, that issue didn't even have Morpheus in it, but I was wow-ed by the stories within the stories and that's how I went about reading the Sandman, I just grab whatever was available on the comic shop shelf, didn't even read it in the proper sequence - and that made it even more magical.
